We were delighted to restart our Minibus trips back at the end of May, albeit tentatively! However, we kept safety and social distancing as a priority, which of course meant passenger numbers were limited and offered to our members first.
We started with the first trip on the 25 May with 9 passengers going to the Elan Valley Visitor Centre. Further weekly trips followed going to Honey Brook Garden Centre & Cafe in Nantmel, Llandrindod Wells Lakeside Cafe, Penbont House in the Elan Valley, and a trip to Llanidloes.
We have recruited an extra passenger assistant in Linda Knox who is on hand to help our Driver Billy and long standing volunteer Del. Del was also our photographer for our trips!
Thank you to our driver, volunteers, members and supporters, without whom the trips would not be able to take place. The next trip on the 10th of August will be a full day shopping trip to Newtown!
